Hi, I'm Lupe!

I'm a Peruvian-born maker living in Cincinnati, Ohio — proud wife, mom of two beautiful girls, and the heart behind The Beloved Handmade.

I've always been drawn to handmade accessories. It started simple: making hair bows for my daughters to wear to school, carefully crafting each one with love. People started noticing. And somewhere between the fabric and the thread, a dream began to take shape.

After 24 years of calling the United States home, I finally took the leap and opened my own shop — a place where every headband, tee, and accessory is made by hand, one piece at a time, with intention and care.

But The Beloved Handmade is bigger than accessories.

20% of every sale goes toward purchasing school supplies for children in Nasca, Peru — the city where I was born and where my heart still lives. Every purchase you make helps put a pencil, a notebook, or a backpack in the hands of a child who needs it.
